For this Sime Darby campaign, I designed the message "Together We Are Better" to glows like a cosmic truth. In a world that can feel disconnected, these words, set against the infinite expanse of space, remind us that community is our constellation - each person a vital star in a greater pattern of belonging.
When Sime Darby uses "Together," it speaks to something fundamental about human connection and shared progress. In this campaign, I used the cosmic theme to elevate this concept by showing how, like stars forming constellations, individual efforts combine to create something greater than the sum of their parts.
The phrase "Together We Are Better" is a manifestation of Sime Darby's core values. I made sure that the cosmic design reinforces this by showing how:
Individual stars (team members) form larger patterns (collaborative achievements)
Light illuminates darkness (progress through teamwork)
Constellations guide travelers (leadership through cooperation)
The Visual Storytelling
The constellation icon I have developed represents different aspects of community life—homes, families, and shared spaces. These patterns suggest how individual points of light (people, ideas, efforts) connect to form meaningful patterns (achievements, communities, progress).
The gradient colours were carefully selected, transitioning from deep purple to warm orange to symbolise the journey from individual dreams to collective reality. The two background hues reflect the event's structure: the starry yellow-orange background represents Prime Appreciation Day, held throughout the day, while the blue galaxy background represents Business Associates Night, an evening celebration.
This event is a gesture of appreciation towards Sime Darby Property's valued business associates and prime members, recognising their contributions in driving the company towards a better, brighter future."

While working on this, I found it quite challenging to create an emotional bridge between Sime Darby's corporate values and human aspirations.
However, by using these illuminated displays, I successfully deliver not only corporate messaging - but also a reflection of humanity's eternal truth that we achieve more when we work together.
